S T E P 6 ATTACHMENT FITTING AND INTERPROXIMAL REDUCTION (IPR) > If your Invisalign treatment involves attachments or Interproximal reduction your orthodontist might choose to do it at the beginning or at specific times during your treatment. > Not all treatments necessarily require attachments to be placed and your orthodontist will confirm if this is the case at either your first fitting appointment or upon approval of your Invisalign ClinCheck animations. > Prescribed Interproximal reduction is usually carried out at specific points before you can wear certain aligners. Your orthodontist will know exactly when, how much is required and will inform you of the timetable for doing this. 104 Smiles & F aces The Comprehensive Guide To Orthodontics Octagon Orthodontics www.octagonorthodontics.com ORTHODONTIC BRACES
